Management Accounting Jobs description
Management Accounting jobs require candidates to have an experience in a management accounts team with a solid track record in accounts payable and receivable and a background in variance analysis, reconciliations and intercompany account recs. Management accounting professionals analyze balance sheets on monthly basis to improve departmental performance. Management accounting professionals also supervise expenditure within budget vis-à-vis performance and have an ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks.Management accounting jobs require candidates to be able to work with minimum supervision, possess good communication skills and be able to work against strict deadlines and targets. All accountancy functions apart from external audits need to be carried out by a management accountant. A candidate with a management accounting job requires working with project team leaders and hiring managers in the commerce industry.
Management accounting job openings are filled by candidates with a graduate or post-graduate degree in accounting, although a professional degree from AICPA (USA), CIMA (UK), ICWAI (INDIA), ICMA (USA) or CMA (USA) is much preferred.
