Finance Controller Jobs description
Controller is a senior level, c-level or executive level position. The controller of an organization typically reports to the chief financial officer (CFO). Duties include recommending and implementing process improvement solutions, managing and mentoring organization-wide financial control activities and policies, assisting the CFO on accounting related projects, conducting complete business reviews of profit-centers. participating in planning and/or implementing core accounting processes, assisting in due diligence, giving presentations to both c-level and project managers, and leading annual audit processes.A controller job may be found at an accounting or finance department of a medium to large-sized organization. A controller generally has a bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA, CMA, or a relevant accounting qualification. Such positions require at least 5 years of experience in an accounting management role. Familiarity with job costing, vendor management, accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) functions along with knowledge in QuickBooks is important.
