Accounting Analyst Jobs description

An accounting analyst is responsible for accounting, analyzing, and presenting results for revenue, gross profit, balance sheet, and/or income and expense accounts. A typical entry-level position requires preparation and posting of journal entries, general ledger account reconciliation, and working on month-end closing.

Since accounting is a priority for every company, accounting analyst jobs are found in most organizations. Accounting analysts typically have a bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or a degree in CPA, or CFA. An accounting analyst may also be referred to as accounting associate, accountant, accounting assistant, accounts executive, junior accountant, or senior accounting analyst.
