Fixed Assets Accountant (Interim Project)
Location: Fully Remote
Hourly Pay: $35 - $45 / hour, depending on applicable experience
Job Responsibilities:
This position will require clean up of fixed asset allocation, recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets
Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets and applicable documentation
Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets
Requirements:
4-plus years of fixed assets experience (ideally in a manufacturing environment)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or applicable work experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and effectively, to achieve project completion
