WORK OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for diverse finance and accounting functions inclusive of financial accounting in compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements. Work is performed under general direction with extensive latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position relies on experience and subject-matter expertise to apply advanced concepts, techniques, and knowledge of processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Master’s preferred. Degree requirement preferably supplemented by five or more years’ accounts payable and/or payroll experience;

or an equivalent combination of education,

governmental accounting

certification, training, and/or experience. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
