Job Overview
Our client, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, is now seeking to hire a skilled Tax Manager/Senior Manager
to join their team on a permanent basis in Dublin, Cork or Limerick.
The role is offered as a hybrid.
About the role:
They are looking for an ambitious, forward thinking high-achiever seeking a new challenge in a progressive and forward-thinking firm where you'll be joining their International Tax and Transfer Pricing Team. As a Manager/Senior Manager you will be advising on cross-border tax issues and assisting in the business development efforts of the team. You will also manage a portfolio of corporate clients.
What you will do:
Assisting in the deployment of new international tax advisory project
Managing a portfolio of clients
Business development
Providing tax advice on cross border and local Irish tax matters
Reporting directly to members of the senior tax management group and tax partners
Interpreting legislation and identifying precedent
Researching and identifying tax planning issues and opportunities for clients
Researching EU and other international tax related developments
Liaising with other departments and teams to plan and provide professional tax advice
Supervision, development and mentoring of tax trainees and seniors
What you need:
CTA qualified (min 2 years PQE with relevant Irish tax experience)
ADIT qualification/part qualification beneficial but not a requirement
Experience advising on Irish tax matters for cross-border groups including setting up in Ireland, M&A transactions, tax due diligence, IP planning etc
Strong academic background
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong technical skills across all tax heads
Be commercially minded
Be ambitious
