The Accounts Payable Merchandise Assistant maintains merchandise vendor accounts and payments to them. 

                       ** Work hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm (fixed schedule) **

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Data entry of vendor invoices and invoice corrections
  • Resolve discrepancies between vendor’s invoice and receiving records
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Handle all vendor correspondence including phone, written, and email communication
  • Daily Reports – responsible for the breakdown, distribution, and filing of the daily Keyrec reports
  • Filing of invoices, corrections, etc…
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma
  •  2 years of previous experience (business or accounting experience is a plus)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear communication skills – both verbal and written
  •  Data entry skills
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Candidate must be able to work independently
  • Analytical
