Financial Systems Analyst

Profile

Responsible for data analysis and the presentation of firm financial data to support firm management and processes;
Creates reports to be run on a regularly scheduled basis as well as respond to ad-hoc data requests;
Provide support for the Aderant Expert application and ancillary systems;
Assist in the creation and maintenance of existing reporting and billing templates;
Continually analyze existing processes and looks for opportunities for improvements and optimizations;
Support, and participate in, the firms’ month end and year end reporting requirements;
Provide support for financial system upgrade and improvement projects;
Respects client and firm data confidentiality.
Requirements
Finance or Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent experience is required
3 years proven working experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
Demonstrated high level of ability to use MS Excel required
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL/SSMS and SSRS required
Experience with Microsoft Access preferred
Knowledge of Aderant software preferred
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent customer service required
Must perform well under pressures of deadlines, heavy volumes, and requests
Ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive requests to ensure prompt service
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
Must be a team player and have ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, preferred
