Aon is looking for an Senior FIN AnalystJob Description Summary: We are looking for a Senior FIN Analyst in our Fort Washington, PA office! As part of an industry-leading team, you will assist with carrier payment analysis for proper payment and reconciliations, supporting carrier audits, while supporting and validating other Fin Analysts as well as analyze and implement additional changes and efficiencies within the accounting operations team reporting to the Sr. Accounting Ops Manager.Responsibilities: Lead initiative to improve and streamline cash reconciliation process for Affinity Insurance ProgramsPartner with Financial Control to resolve bank reconciliation variances, identify inconsistencies, and create transparencyAssist regional Accounting Operations team with variance resolution by conducting training sessions and developing best practices and techniquesCreate and maintain metrics dashboard to illustrate progress made on projectsBecome SME for various policy admin systems and partner with IT to create standardized reportsDevelop thorough understanding of Accounting Operations functions and make recommendations for process improvementsSupport monthend close process by ensuring information, produced by the various policy admin systems, is accurate along with providing commentary for any variancesPerform ad-hoc analysisOversee smaller ad-hoc projects, audits, and technology enhancement testingKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHighly proficient in ExcelSelf-motivated and driven individualComplex problem solverAbility to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environmentExcellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesComfortable communicating and interacting with all levels of managementMust have excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracyStrong Customer Service focusAbility to work independently and as a teamRequired Experience:3 - 5 years related experienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or MathematicsA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; medical, dental and vision insurance, various types of leaves of absence, paid time off, including sick days and vacation days, short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance; optional personal insurance policies, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, and an employee assistance program that includes free counseling sessions.
