assures accuracy, timeliness,and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordancewith generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)u25CF You will lead, grow, empower and inspire a team of finance professionals located bothdomestically and internationally, and work across the broader finance team to enableand deliver Splunku2019s strategic and financial goalsu25CF You will ensure the work environment is based on respect and high integrity while alsohaving a fun and diverse cultureu25CF Creates governance structures for effective decision making, leading with a principlesand data-backed approach, balancing stakeholder needs with delivering the customerbenefitu25CF Ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately into the Companyu2019s generalledger and financial statements with a focus on proactive issue identification andresolutionu25CF Ensure compliant and timely SEC reporting (Forms 10-K and 10-Qs, etc.), support for allearnings releases and public financial disclosures, and other regulated entity compliancereporting for entities worldwideu25CF Interpretation, review, and implementation of existing and new accountingpronouncements to ensure compliance with US GAAP as well as ascertaining anddeveloping appropriate disclosures in the Companyu2019s SEC filingsu25CF Develop and mentor the accounting team with a focus on advance communication, hightransparency, minimizing surprises, and effective partnership with leaders cross-functionallyu25CF Partner with Finance Systems to define finance requirements and improvements to ourexisting SAP S4/HANA ERP system to increase effectiveness and efficiencies, enhanceprocesses, and enable scaleu25CF Partner and work closely with Internal Audit on SOX compliance to provide direction,implementation and maintenance of effective, consistent and efficient control policies,standards, and applicationu25CF Act as primary liaison with the companyu2019s external auditors and other external serviceproviders and regulatorsu25CF Proactively communicate all applicable new accounting pronouncements in an easy-to-understand manner to help organizational leaders to understand impactu25CF Oversee accounting for M&A activities and lead the team responsible for integrationactivities across Financeu25CF Partner with the Corporate Tax team to ensure the understanding of federal and statetax implications to key business decisions and financial accounting/reportingu25CF Monitor and analyze department to continuously develop more efficient procedures anduse of resources while maintaining effectiveness of controlsWe value diversity at our company.
