Accounting Administrator - P2P

SUMMARY: Tyson Foods has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Administrator. This position will report to the Payment Solutions group which is part of the Purchase to Pay P2P organization. Specific duties will include: initiating ACH, check, and wire payments; handling payment inquiries, payment traces, voids/stop payments and reissue requests; assisting with P-Card administration duties; interacting with Corporate Accounting to ensure internal controls are maintained; communicating with internal/external customers to resolve discrepancies; monitoring department email boxes and responding as necessary; preparing reports to assist with process and performance analysis; communicating and educating internal and external individuals on proper P2P procedural steps; other tasks as assigned. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate with various groups of people. Cross-training will be done in areas assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3 yrs of AP experience.

Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills which should include the full suite of Microsoft Office products (excel experience is a plus). Experience with SAP is preferred.

Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.

Special Skills: Work activities are variable and require someone who is self-motivated, able to multi-task and use judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results and coordinating with others.
