Description
The Senior Accountant will lead the Home Solutions general accounting activities, including overseeing the monthly close process and preparing financial statements. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting processes. The Senior Accountant work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Partner with corporate accounting to streamline Home Solutions and Clinical Finance accounting processes
Lead efforts to centralize the Home Solutions and Clinical Finance accounting activities within one team
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including program level P&Ls
Implement reviews and controls over the accounting process ensuring accuracy of all financial data
Review monthly journal entries, including revenue and expense accruals and reclasses prior to recording to the ledger
Review monthly reconciliations and schedules including revenue schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, etc.
Owner of Oracle/Essbase chart of accountant structures
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
2-5 years of progressive accounting experience - defined as demonstrated career progression accounting roles, and/or the expansion of responsibilities)
Progressive leadership and management experience
Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration
Certified Public Accountant license
Prior experience in Public Accounting or in the Healthcare industry
