Winston & Strawn's Washington, D.C. office is looking for a tax associate with two to five years of experience working on a broad range of tax consulting, planning, compliance, and controversy matters. Candidates with state and local tax backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to join an active practice that is growing. The ideal candidate will have stellar academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Major law firm experience is preferred, but not required. All candidates must be admitted to the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar upon hire.
