Team Member Description:
Lifestyle Communities’ (LC) Finance team keeps the books balanced by streamlining procedures and perfecting planning and reporting. You’ll join a team committed to elevating the company through product innovation, process improvement, and margin and profitability enhancement.
The Finance team at LC is looking for an accomplished professional to create process and provide critical analyses and insights to help drive business decisions. In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional partners throughout the LC community to drive improvements, standardize reporting, and provide data analysis.
Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:
Executes monthly financial closing process accurately within the parameters of month-end close calendar.
Reviews journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and disclosures prepared by team members as needed or as assigned and ensures that the work carried out by staff is aligned with the organization's mission.
Demonstrates ability to reason logically and provide effective solution to complex problems. Make high quality decisions based on facts and business priorities.
Develops analysis and tracking for year over year, Budgetary and monthly forecast reviews of revenue and spending, to support management and execution. Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance (i.e. reduction in concessions, turn-over, etc.).
Develops presentations for financial monthly results (including full year forecasts), Investor distributions, ad hoc reviews, etc. for leadership team and works with IT to continuously improve and develop knowledge management tools for Asset Management using the in house Business Intelligence tool.
Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant business and modeling experience required.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, MS Office, BI and Entrata/Tops, Real Estate software applications.
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
