SUMMARY
Bering Straits Logistics Services, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Accounting Clerk III for the CoMSUPCEN contract in Lexington, KY.  This position will provide assistance to the accounting team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with invoice processing
Assist with monthly billing and accounts receivable processes
Assist with billings to customer
Provide project reporting as needed
Work with auditors (financial & government) to provide accounting information as requested
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Five (5) years’ experience in accounting, or
Two (2) years’ of college education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and personnel as well as with outside auditors and or regulatory authorities
Strong ability to read and interpret Federal contracts
Good working knowledge of FAR and DCAA requirements
Strong ability to analyze and interpret project accounting information
Ability to execute reports and business correspondence
Preferred
Federal Contract billing experience
Accounts Receivable experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
