As the Manager, External Reporting and Consolidations, you will be a contributing team member in the Corporate Controller’s organization, based at Honeywell’s Global Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. You will leverage your knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and consolidations processes and procedures to complete the monthly consolidation and prepare components of the quarterly and annual filings with the SEC. This position will liaise with Corporate functions and SBG finance leadership by leading discussions or providing consultation on matters impacting consolidations and SEC reporting. You will also be active in drafting, updating and administering Controller’s accounting and reporting policies, and supporting accounting consultations as needed.
Manage the completion of monthly and quarterly consolidation, including validation of SBG submissions, management of all eliminating and top side entries and oversight for statistical measurement accounts
Support submissions of forecast and plan submissions, including consolidation and finalization in HFM
Manage special projects as assigned, such as support of acquisition or divestiture transactions, portfolio realignments and finance functional transformation
Support Investor Relations in the preparation for the annual investor day, quarterly press releases and annual outlook presentation by ensuring accurate, consistent and transparent disclosure
Review data submitted by Corporate functions and SBGs for reasonableness, proactively identifying inconsistencies and leading follow-up discussions
Leverage attention to detail to review presentations for external investors, confirming the accuracy of information and consistency with previous filings or presentations and identifying financial metrics requiring non-GAAP reconciliations
Develop a detailed understanding of key applications used for external reporting

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 6 years total experience
Experience in Big 4 public accounting firm with service to mid or large cap public companies or similar role in Corporate Controllers organization of a Fortune 500 Company
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience working with HFM or other consolidation software
Able to work both independently and as a team member
Ability to view complex/conflicting data, identify issues and propose solutions/alternatives
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvement
