Essential Job Functions
Provide a framework to identify, manage, and communicate the cost of service delivery to mission partners. Costs of each service shall be documented within a Service Design Package that is developed during the service design phase and shall be continually updated with cost input coming directly from the Financial Manager. Financial management duties include:
Support the development of a framework to recover the costs of service provision from the mission partners.
Account for the money and labor spent on the creation, delivery and support of services.
Provide financial information and charts for routine reports that tracks labor and Other Direct Costs (ODCs) funds expended to date and funds remaining against the budgeted amount.
Monitor new or growing services including new application instances, new hardware deployments, new data feeds, and storage increases that can drive internal costs or manpower requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)
5 years’ experience in a financial management position
Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
Security Clearance - Secret - required
Financial Management Certification (CFM) - desired
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certified - desired
