The Opportunity
We are seeking a strong Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Accounting Coordinator. Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with our sales force, and with customers & vendors. Accuracy a must. HVAC and job cost background a plus. Must demonstrate strong Excel and other Microsoft applications skills, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, high growth environment
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable – Coding, entering and processing vendor invoices
Accounts Receivable --Billing and Cash Receipts entry
Strict attention to accuracy and detail
Verification of proper approval for expenses
Review and Process employee expense reports
A/P filing (paper and scanning) & mailings
Communicating –with vendors, manufacturers, customers, company associates
Creating reports
Daily processing and reconciliation of payment to invoices and document bank deposit
Customer follow-up regarding invoices and payment issues
Ability to communicate with customers/vendors and individuals in departments throughout the company
HVAC Experience and job costing a plus
Other duties and special projects as needed
The Required Profile
Accounting Clerk/Coordinator Experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Associates Degree a plus
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Good Communication Skills and the Ability to Get along with others
Great Customer Service – External and Internal
Other Skills & Abilities
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
