Bookkeeping Jobs
A bookkeeping job involves recording of financial transactions made by an individual or an organization. The person who carries out these responsibilities is referred to as a bookkeeper, office assistant, bookkeeping clerk, personal assistant, or accounting clerk. Responsibilities for a bookkeeping job include individual accounts maintenance, handling payroll, recording accounts payable and incoming checks, and managing general ledger and account reconciliations. Bookkeeping jobs are available full-time, part-time, freelance basis, or with a work-from-home option.
A bookkeeping job requires good mathematical skills, and proficiency with the use of QuickBooks. Prior experience in a similar field is an advantage. Excellent typing speed and use of Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential.
