The Strider Group, LLC is currently searching for a highly skilled CPA to join a large corporate finance team responsible for analysis and preparation of financial reports and company accounting support. This is a great opportunity for a professional who wants to be involved with a small company that will utilize ALL of your skills and abilities.
We are seeking a high-energy and internally driven finance/accounting professional. The ideal candidate will be able work alone in a fast paced environment, as well as on special projects within a team. In this role you will support the SEC and statutory reporting requirements of the company as well as work on treasury and close cycles for month/quarter/year ends.
We seek someone with experience working at one of the Big-X firms, as well as experience within a large corporate environment. The possibility of 20% travel exists.
Specific skills needed include:
3-5 years of work experience as a corporate accounting/finance professional at a large company
Experience working within the Big-X accounting and audit firms is a major plus
Expertise in SEC reporting, Statutory requirements, treasury reporting and consolidation, etc
Expertise with close process for month, 1/4, and year end cycles
GAAP expertise
CPA not required but very strongly preferred.
